Lecturer in Computing - Fixed Term (Initially 6 months) - Monday - Friday (36 hours per week) - Salary - £29,705 - £40,536 pro-rata (including up to £3,000 per annum market supplement) depending on qualifications and experience. Holiday Entitlement - 42 Days plus bank and public holidays, Full and part-time posts (pro-rata) available based at Ware and/or Broxbourne Campuses, Closing date 22/04/2024 @ midday

We are recruiting for Lecturer(s) in Computing to join Hertford Regional College to help deliver an outstanding learner experience and be inspirational to students at our state of art facilities in Broxbourne and Ware.

About The Role

We are seeking individuals who are passionate about supporting our learners in developing their knowledge, practical skills and learning attitudes through the course. As Lecturer in Computing you will teach inspiring lessons to maximise the progress, development and employability of our IT and/or Games students. You will teach computing and associated subjects to BTEC Level 1 Diploma in IT, BTEC Level 2 Diploma in IT, Level 3 90 Credit and Extended Diploma IT Practitioner, Functional Skills in at least one topic and possibly some Higher Education.

About You

Successful candidates will display a passion for teaching and enjoy interacting and engaging with students. You will work collaboratively with colleagues whilst using your own initiative. You will have great interpersonal and organisation skills and competent in using IT systems.

You should have a relevant subject degree/HND and proven teaching experience in subject specialism within a FE or HE environment. You will hold a Teacher training qualification such as PGCE or DTLLS, or a commitment to achieve in a specified period of time, along with an Assessor and Verifier qualification.
