Electrical Installation Lecturer no teaching experience required

If so we have an amazing opportunity to work as an Electrical Installations lecturer and the best thing is the government are currently offering a £6000 incentive for the next two years for electricians to move into teaching!

• £36,000 - £38,500/annum (depending on experience) + £6000 from the government for the first 2 years for joining education for the first time (making it a total if £12,000 on top of your salary )
• Excellent holiday allowance 49 day off per annum
• Enrolment to teachers pensions with a HUGE employer pension contribution of 28.68% of your annual salary
• The college will pay for and support you with undertaking a teaching qualification

About the Role:

You will be working in state-of-the-art facilities, with leading local construction firms to help train up the next generation of Electricians through their apprenticeships.

• Delivering practical and theory lessons to diploma level 1-3 electrical apprentices
• Developing learning resources, managing classroom behaviour etc.

Who are we looking for?

• Hold an NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installations (or equivalent)
• Have an 18th Edition
• Preferably have a teaching qualification (e.g., PTTLS) or willing to work towards it within the first year of employment
• English and Maths GCSE (level 4/C or above)
