Learning Support Assistant - Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)

Location: Folkestone

Information:

Full-time role, Monday to Friday from 8.30 to 3.30 each day.

Pay rate is 83 per day

Pupil's age ranges between 3 to 19 years old

Supporting children with PMLD - Profound and moderate learning difficulties - multiple barriers to learning such as communication, cognition, sensory (vision & hearing) and physical.

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one support to students with PMLD, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
• Assist with personal care and mobility needs, ensuring the well-being and comfort of each student.
• Collaborate with teaching staff and other professionals to implement individualised learning plans.

Requirements:

• Have the right to work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to get a new one ( 46 and we oay back the 46 once you have worked 20 days for us)
• Experience working with students with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).
• Understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced by students with PMLD.
• Compassionate and patient attitude with a genuine commitment to making a positive impact on students' lives.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff and other support professionals.
