Ther school and role:

An independent school we work with in searching for a biology teacher who could eventually move up to be head of biology. They also would like you to have experience teaching psychology to sixth form or secondary students, however this is not required.

The role requires you to be confident in the subject, have experience and qualifications. You will be working full time teaching biology all through secondary and sixth form classes. If you can also teach psychology, this is desired and you will be teaching some psychology sixth form classes too.

Requirements:

• QTS or PGCE in biology
• Experience teaching biology in a secondary school in line with the UK curriculum
• Confidence to lead a class of 30 children
• Willingness to adapt and learn
• Leadership and behaviour management skills
