A school in the bury area are currently recruiting for a Caretaker! you will be working 37 hours per week, on a flexible shift pattern of a week of 6am-2pm and then the next week is 11am-7pm with occasional evening and weekend work required. this is to include holidays, not just term time.

The Caretaker will be expected to carry out a full range of maintenance tasks and caretaking on the School site, which vary from day-to-day. Candidates should have a strong awareness of health & safety, and there is potential for development within this area. We are looking for an exceptional candidate for this key role in the school who, as well as having good maintenance skills, should have excellent communication skills and the ability to build a rapport with both students and staff. The successful candidate will be joining a pro-active, hands-on team who work together to ensure the smooth running of the school site.

We expect high performance from all our staff and are looking for an impressive individual who is flexible, has a can-do attitude and can add to the hands-on skillset of the current team. Candidates should demonstrate their ability and suitability to both the role and the culture of the College.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in commercial cleaning is required.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

- Excellent communication skills to interact with staff.

- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to property maintenance.

- Previous experience in caretaking or maintenance roles is preferred.

- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication purposes.
