Job Title: SEMH Seconday Teacher

Location: Ilford, London

Salary: 160+ per day (DOE)

Contract: Full-time (term-time only)

Start Date: ASAP/October 2024

A wonderful SEMH School in Ilford are looking for a Primary trained or Secondary general subjects SEMH QTS Teacher to join their school from October 2024. This specialist SEMH school has a warm and welcoming environment and is a highly regarded and integral part of the local community.

This school shares resources, support, and ideas amounst others in the borough fostering a collaborative spirit to achieve a shared vision. With a strong emphasis on community and partnership, the school provides an environment where both staff and students feel valued, supported and can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a class of KS3/4 level SEMH pupils, providing high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to achieve their best.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the Federation to share resources, support, and innovative teaching practices.
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience in teaching KS2, KS3 or SEMH
  • A commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
