Brickwork Lecturer - Luton

Veritas Education is excited to offer an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Brickwork Lecturer to join a dedicated team at our Barnfield Campus in Luton. We are seeking a candidate with significant industry knowledge and experience in the construction trade who is passionate about passing on their skills to the next generation of professionals.

About the Role:

As a Brickwork Lecturer, you will be responsible for teaching on the Level 1 Construction Skills programme and the Level 1 and 2 Bricklaying programmesYou will use your industry experience to prepare students for the world of work or further qualifications, providing support in both the workshop and classroom environments. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to share their expertise and help students excel.

Responsibilities:

- Deliver high-quality teaching on the Level 1 Construction Skills and Level 1 and 2 Bricklaying programmes

- Use industry knowledge to prepare students for employment or further study

- Support students' development both in the workshop and classroom settings

- Stay up to date with industry advancements and incorporate them into the teaching material

- Work collaboratively with the teaching team to provide a dynamic and engaging learning environment

- Assist in the assessment and monitoring of student progress

- Provide guidance and support to help students excel in their studies and future careers

Ideal Candidate:

- Holds a relevant trade qualification or has significant industry experience in the construction field

- Passionate about teaching and developing the next generation of construction professionals

- Flexible and adaptable, with a strong understanding of current industry trends

- Teaching experience is desirable but not essential; candidates willing to complete teacher training will be fully supported

- Strong communication and organisational skills with the ability to engage and motivate students

Location:

The role is based at Luton, with access to a supportive team and excellent facilities.
