Progressing to Programme Manager Location: Langley, Berkshire
Contract: Full-time, permanent position
Salary: £30,612 - £44,091 per annum (dependent on teaching qualifications and experience)
Think FE is proud to represent a leading Further Education college in Berkshire, offering an exciting opportunity for a Multi-Trades Lecturer. We are seeking an individual with a broad skillset across various trades to a basic level, including carpentry, plumbing, brickwork, electrical, and health & safety, to deliver high-quality teaching and training.
You do not need all of these to a high level, but you will need a level 3 in one subject as a minimum. The successful candidate will support learners across different levels, ensuring their progression through effective teaching and curriculum development.
This role is unique because from day one you will earmarked as a programme manager. Developed, trained and given any formal qualifications you need.

Responsibilities: - Delivering effective teaching in areas such as carpentry, plumbing, brickwork, painting & decorating, electrical, and health & safety
- Managing student progress and assessment, ensuring successful outcomes
- Contributing to curriculum development, including apprenticeships and study programmes
- Providing pastoral care, supporting learners in their personal and academic development
- Actively engaging in college systems, including ProMonitor, to monitor and track student progress
Who are we looking for? - A minimum Level 3 qualification in a relevant trade (carpentry, plumbing, brickwork, etc.)
- Experience in the industry or teaching within multi-trades
- UK Teaching Qualification preferred (AET, DET, DTTLS, PGCE), or willingness to work towards one
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to student success
- Enhanced DBS check required prior to employment
