As a Teacher of Religious Studies, you will play a crucial role in delivering engaging and thought-provoking lessons, fostering a love for learning, and helping students develop a deep understanding of various religious traditions and their impact on the world.

Religious Studies Teacher Responsibilities:

• Teach Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Religious Studies lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and critical thinking.
• Assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources.
• Participate in school events, parent evenings, and professional development opportunities.

Religious Studies Teacher Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Religious Studies or a related field.
• Proven experience teaching Religious Studies at the secondary level.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for educating young people about diverse religious beliefs and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
• A commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.

Candidates must have QTS without QTS, they will not be considered.

Candidates must have a Degree or PGCE in Religious Studies
