Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team supporting children within a Middle School in Redditch Our Redditch-based school caters to children and young adults aged 8 - 13.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, helping with both their academic development and personal care needs. Previous experience working with SEND students is not essential as full training will be provided, though experience in a school setting is critical for this role.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support children or young adults in their learning and personal care.
• Work effectively with other staff to support student development.
• Experience in school-based environments is required.
• A DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check, registered with the online update service, or willingness to apply for one.

Job Requirements:

• Experience supporting young people with learning difficulties or disabilities.
