As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you ll work closely with class teachers to support lesson delivery and provide targeted interventions for pupils who need additional support particularly those with SEND needs. You ll help create an environment where every child feels encouraged, supported, and valued.

Support Learning Assist in planning and delivering engaging lessons and activities.
SEND Support Work with children with additional needs to help them access the curriculum.
Encourage Independence Promote confidence and learning in a nurturing way.
Collaborate Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and parents/carers.
Maintain a Safe Environment Ensure safeguarding and well-being remain top priorities.
Monitor Progress Support assessment and adapt strategies as needed.

Recent experience working in a school or childcare-related role.
Experience supporting pupils with SEND is highly desirable.
A caring, patient, and proactive attitude.
Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for working with children.
Relevant qualifications are a bonus but not essential with strong experience.

Right to work in the UK.
An up-to-date CV with two recent references.
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
