A Director of English is needed in a Mixed Secondary School & Sixth Form in South East London.

This Director of English position will be full time and permanent.

If appointed as a Director of English, your duties will include but not be limited to:

Tracking pupil progress for all KS3 to KS5 English classes
Enhancing learning that takes place within the English department
Ensure lessons are differentiated appropriately so that learning can be accessed by pupils at all stages of understanding
Direct staff within the English department in accordance with specific needs

The salary for this Director of English position will be between 61707 and 70873, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.

Requirements

You're encouraged to apply if you're an experienced English Teacher or experienced Director of English.

Applications are also welcome if you're a British trained Director of English or overseas trained Director of English.

Right to work in the UK
UK QTS or an overseas equivalent
Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
Experience of working as an English Teacher or Director of English in UK Secondary schools
