Salary: 11,367 - 16,749 per annum (actual salary)

Dovetail and Slate are working with a college in North Yorkshire to recruit a dedicated Teacher of Engineering to join their A-Level team on a 0.4 FTE basis. Deliver high-quality, inclusive teaching, learning, and assessment in Engineering
Provide both hands-on and theoretical instruction to support learner development
Design lesson plans that connect academic learning to industry-relevant applications
Collaborate with colleagues to improve student engagement and outcomes
Support student recruitment, retention, achievement, and progression
Use digital tools and technology to enhance lesson delivery

A minimum Level 3 qualification in Engineering or a relevant Degree (Essential)
GCSEs in English and Maths
A teaching qualification
Knowledge and experience in teaching Engineering
Strong classroom and time management skills
Confidence in using digital platforms and teaching technology
