This is an exciting opportunity for a forward-thinking professional from the Construction (Design, Surveying & Planning) sector to join our thriving college and be at the forefront of delivering the new T Level qualifications.
As we continue to expand our T Level offerings, we are looking for a passionate and skilled lecturer to play a key role in shaping our construction curriculum. You will be joining a dynamic team within our brand-new Green Construction building, equipped with high-spec PCs and modern learning spaces.
This role is ideal for an experienced educator or an industry professional seeking a rewarding career in teaching. We are especially interested in applicants with expertise or interest in Green Construction.
The post holder will be expected to:
- Deliver high-quality teaching, inspiring students to achieve their full potential
- Collaborate with colleagues, students, and industry partners to develop an engaging and future-focused curriculum
- Contribute to the growth of our T Level provision, ensuring it remains innovative and industry relevant.
We are looking for a dedicated professional who:
- Has industry experience in Construction (Design, Surveying & Planning) or holds a related degree
- Is passionate about education and committed to developing their teaching skills
- Holds or is willing to obtain a teaching qualification
- Possesses strong organisational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively
Although a teaching qualification is an advantage, training opportunities exist within the College and we can support you in gaining your Award in Education and Training Level 3 Qualification (AET), within your first year of joining the college.
This role may be eligible for the Government's Targeted Retention Initiative
