Job Title: Lecturer in Professional Construction

You’ll play a key part in preparing learners for successful careers in a rapidly evolving sector.

About the Role:

·  Deliver engaging and high-quality teaching across a range of construction-related subjects

·  Support and challenge learners to achieve their full potential

·  Embed emerging technologies and current industry practices into programmes of study

·  Contribute to the continuous improvement and development of course content

·  Collaborate with colleagues and industry partners to ensure curriculum relevance

Essential Requirements:

• Education to level 6 and/or a professional qualification in a relevant professional construction subject area
• Minimum of Level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics GCSE 4+ or equivalent
• Relevant Teacher training or the wiliness to complete within 3 years of employment (3 years of the first available course)
• Evidence of continuous professional development

Essential Experience:

• Industrial experience within the professional construction sector
• Experience of using CAD and/or other design software
• Experience of working with young people
