We are currently recrcuiting for a lunch time supervisor to work in a Special Needs School for children aged 11-19 in Liverpool

Hours: 11:40-13:40

Days: Monday - Friday

Pay: £150 per week

Duties

• Actively monitor and supervise students with a range of diverse needs during the lunch break, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. This includes being vigilant for any potential hazards or incidents.

• Facilitate positive social interactions and play amongst students, encouraging them to engage with their peers in a respectful and inclusive manner.

• Support students in managing their behavior in line with the school's policies and individual behavior support plans. This might involve de-escalating situations, redirecting students, and reinforcing positive behavior.

• Support other staff members with supporting children and covering them as and when needed.

Requirements

• Must be available for the mentioned hours every day during school term time.
• Experience supporting children or within the care sector.
• Ability to engage with children with special needs.
