Oxfordshire Adult Learning (OAL) is a large, award winning faculty of Abingdon and Witney College. We aim to maximise access to learning for adults in Oxfordshire, widening participation and transforming the health, social and economic wellbeing of individuals, families and their communities. Our provision is diverse and includes an extensive range of leisure learning courses, community learning courses, family learning courses and accredited courses which lead to recognised qualifications. Our courses are delivered at our campuses in Abingdon and in Witney, as well as in community venues across Oxfordshire.
We are currently looking for a Cookery tutor to deliver two hourly sessions, in the evenings, on Mondays Tuesday and Thursday, at different venues in Oxfordshire. The tutor will be able to deliver a variety of cookery courses to a group of mixed ability learners, covering a range of culinary processes.
Hourly Paid Lecturers are responsible for planning courses, delivering inspiring lessons, keeping records of their learner's progress and participating in development activities to enhance their own teaching, learning and assessment skills.
Although a teaching qualification is an advantage, training opportunities exist within the College and we can support you in gaining your Award in Education and Training Level 3 Qualification (AET), within your first year of joining the college.
In return, Abingdon & Witney College offer excellent benefits to our employees including generous pension and holiday schemes (with potential Christmas closure days), continued professional development, flexible working options, corporate gym membership, cycle/tech scheme and much more.
Closing date: 26 th May 2025 (Midnight) *Abingdon and Witney College reserve the right to close all applications before posted closing date
