We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and proactive Sponsorship and Fundraising Executive to join our small but busy AoC External Partnerships team. Reporting to the Head of External Partnerships and Relationships, you will work closely with colleagues across the organisation, in particular with the Sponsorship Executive and the Head of Events and Sponsorship, to identify and maintain relationships with new and existing sponsors and to develop the AoC’s profile and income from trust and grant making bodies.

This role is pivotal for building and maintaining income generation and funding support for the organisation. You will be required to identify new sponsorship opportunities and maintain and maximise existing relationships. This role will have responsibility forcreating and implementing delivery plans for successful sponsorship campaigns, supporting the creation of new AoC products and services to maximise growth opportunities, and evaluating success. Additionally, you will be required to manage our trust and grants fundraising work, including identification of potential new donors, developing high quality bids and meeting reporting requirements.

This role would really suit someone with all-round experience in sponsorship and fundraising, looking to own and maintain their own relationships and to develop broader fundraising skills. Exceptional customer service and writing skills are key. This is a new role so the successful candidate will have a real chance to shape and build both their role and the organisation’s approach.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience across sponsorship and fundraising with a proven track record of achieving sponsorship income against targets, excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills, and excellent research, report writing and bid writing skills. We are looking for someone proactive, adaptable and who is able to respond quickly to changing priorities in a considered manner.
