We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and proactive Sponsorship Executive to join our small but busy AoC External Partnerships team. Reporting to the Head of External Partnerships and Relationships, you will work closely with colleagues across the organisation, in particular with the Sponsorship and Fundraising Executive and the Head of Events and Sponsorship, to identify and maintain relationships with new and existing sponsors and business partners to generate additional revenue and to enhance AoC’s profile and reputation.
This role is pivotal in building and maintaining income generation for the organisation. You will be required to identify new sponsorship opportunities and maintain and maximise existing relationships. Additionally, you will have responsibility for creating and implementing delivery plans for successful sponsorship campaigns, supporting the creation of new AoC products and services to maximise growth opportunities, and evaluating success.
This role would really suit someone with experience in sponsorship work, looking to own and maintain their own relationships and to play a part in developing the future AoC sponsorship plan. Exceptional customer service and stewardship is key. This is a new role so the successful candidate will have a real chance to shape and build both their role and the organisation’s approach.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in sponsorship with a proven track-record of achieving sponsorship income against targets, excellent relationship management,interpersonal skills, and the ability to plan and manage their own work. We are looking for someone who is capable of working effectively using their initiative, who is adaptable and able to respond quickly to changing priorities in a considered manner.
