Croydon College has a bright future. With a new Principal and leadership team in place, a location in the centre of a major regeneration hub and an exciting merger fast approaching with Coulsdon Sixth Form College, we are keen to realise our full potential.

The college is one of the most successful providers of Further and Higher Education in the South East, judged Good in all areas by Ofsted earlier this year, and with similarly strong outcomes in HE in our recent QAA review. We offer a wide range of academic and vocational qualifications for our students, backed up by excellent enrichment and support services. Our University Centre Croydon works in partnership with the high performing University of Sussex and we have strong links with over 1,000 employers to ensure that our students benefit from the latest industry standard input.

We are passionate about the positive impact we can make in our local communities; not only through our extensive voluntary contribution which has culminated in winning the prestigious Queen’s Award, but most importantly through raising aspiration and providing significant opportunities to improve life chances.

Our new Vice Principal Education and Quality will play a key role in achieving our goals. A member of the executive team, the new post holder will oversee consistently high-quality provision across the college and deliver the performance framework to support our overall strategic plans. You will also lead on the college’s curriculum strategy for young people, ensuring that it meets the needs of our community and maximises our students’ potential. Key to the role will be providing inspirational leadership which encourages innovation and continually develops and improves teaching and learning practice.

Our successful candidate will bring a strong track record in the leadership and management of teaching and learning, curriculum development and quality assurance within further education. Forward-looking and student-focused, you will demonstrate experience of consistently driving up academic standards and delivering excellent achievement rates, while communicating the college’s vision, inspiring innovation and developing staff across a wide spectrum.
