Do you enjoy coordinating events? Want to get creative by producing content for presentations, workshops and online? Love talking to people of all backgrounds and helping others? All of these skills are at the forefront of our Marketing Officer (Schools and College Liaison) role.
This is a dynamic role where you can gain new skills that will help to develop a career in marketing, event management, content creation, sales, or careers advice. The role is split in two, as it also involves becoming a Partner Officer with the Higher Education Outreach Network (HEON). This means you will have the support of two friendly teams who can show you the ropes and quickly help you to understand more about colleges and universities. If you have experience of working in education this would be an advantage but is not essential.
This is a fixed term role, covering maternity leave, initially for 6 months with the possibility of being longer. By the end of the role you will be able to show a wide range of new skills and experiences on your CV, ready to take your career to the next level.
It is anticipated the position will start in October.
The role will focus on forging excellent links with Schools and Colleges in our region, including presenting to potential students, organising college taster days, open events and other related student recruitment events.
Applicants will need to hold qualifications equivalent to A Level or BTEC Level 3, (and ideally be qualified to degree level) and have experience of working with young people face-to-face. Excellent administrative and communication skills are a necessity. Your own transport is essential, as the role requires working across the region.
