Employee Relations Advisor

About the role:
Working closely with a HR Business Partner, the Employment Relations Advisor will deal with all HR issues and ER casework from the initial contact to conclusion and any subsequent appeals.  The ER Advisor will use their specialist skills and knowledge to resolve casework effectively, sensitively and within a reasonable timeframe, providing accurate and clear advice and guidance to managers and employees within their business areas.  This role will also collaborate with the wider HR team to support managers’ capabilities and deliver an outstanding HR service to the business. 
The ER Advisor will also participate in a range of HR projects and be able to identify innovative solutions; presenting clear and evidenced based recommendations and action plans to support management decisions, committing to a culture of continuous improvement.

About You:
To be successful in this role you will have relevant HR experience, preferably gained in a complex organisation with multiple sites. You should have good interpersonal, listening, verbal and written communication skills – with the ability to write clear and evidenced based recommendations, reports, policies and procedures. 
Ideally, you will be CIPD qualified or willing to work towards this. You should also be self-confident, self-aware and have a personal drive and resilience to achieve results and to continuously improve the delivery of the service, challenging behaviours and/or decisions where necessary.
