The post will lead our newly established Computing Academy by developing and embedding the latest technology pedagogy and developing our state of the art facility.  You will have extensive curriculum experience as well as excellent technical knowledge and the proven ability to work on cross College initiatives and projects.  The Department has provision, from Level 1 to Level 5 including GCSE, BTEC, A-Level, and Higher Education.

The candidate will be a computing curriculum specialist with a proven track record in leading and delivering outstanding teaching and learning. The College is an exciting place to work as the provision expands and this post will play a central role in our development of the Computing Academy, specialising in expanding and emerging technologies such as VR/AR/MR, robotics, AI, cybersecurity and the IoT.

As leader of the Computing Academy the successful candidate will work with the Head of Quality to develop digital teaching and learning strategies across the College and will work closely with other curriculum leads to progress the digitalisation of College provision.
