Salary: £10.32 per hour inclusive of Holiday Pay

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Casual Bank Learning Support Assistant, working at one of our four centres, where we have vacancies.

The successful candidate will provide learning support to students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities on an individual and small group basis. This will involve tailoring a programme of learning support to individual students based upon their individual needs as outlined in their educational health care plan and differentiated personal profile and support plan. You will also be responsible for liaising with course and support teams to ensure that the individual learning needs of students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities are met.

The ideal candidate will have a good level of general education to Level 2 including Key Skills, particularly in literacy and/or numeracy and/or IT and possess a level 2 qualification in maths and English. You will have experience of working in an educational environment and experience of working with learners with different learning needs. You will have the ability to develop positive working relationships with individuals at all levels and the ability to work effectively as part of a team, supporting others as required.
