Job Description

The ideal candidate will have experience of

* Supporting children in Key stage 1 or 2

* Supporting children with autism, Aspergers, or ASD

* Positive behaviour management strategies such as PRICE or TeamTeach would be beneficial

* Ideally supporting boys with SENd

* Understanding current SEN policies and implementation of Education Health Care Plans

* Working as a positive team player, sharing best practice and working collaboratively

* Experience of working in an outstanding school would be beneficial

As an Academics Teaching Assistant you will need

* 6 weeks experience in an environment working with children with special education needs

* Details of someone who can provide a reference on request to account for your experience of working with children

* Immediately available to commit to long term work with vulnerable children
