Work Placement Officer

Business Development

Salary up to £24,789 per annum

37 hours 52 weeks per year

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Business Development team at Suffolk New College sourcing suitable work placement and work experience opportunities for students. Working with local employers you will be required to identify suitable work placements opportunities, which will support and link to student study programmes and curriculum areas.

You will have excellent communication skills with the ability to provide information, advice and guidance to a number of audiences including external partners, internal work colleagues and young people. You will have a proven track record in building and sustaining effective working relationships and delivering against targets and deadlines,

You are should have a Level 3 or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline e.g. Business, Customer Service, Information Advice & Guidance or Careers Advice.  You will also have maths and English at Level 2 or equivalent.

We currently have two posts available, one on a permanent basis and one fixed term to August 2019.

The latest Ofsted report shows the College is rated as 'good'. The report praises the significant improvement across every area including teaching quality, leadership, outcomes for learners, apprenticeships and personal development.
