The Role:

We would like to recruit a confident SQL Developer / Report Writer to support our busy reporting and information team.

Working closely with the rest of the team and other shared services to develop a good understanding of the further education sector and needs of the group. You will use your problem-solving skills, existing understanding of data concepts and excellent t-SQL skills to support and develop the existing suite of SQL, SSRS and Power BI reporting solutions.

You will take a lead on managing the customer service desk for the team and ensuring all users have access to the correct information in the most appropriate format and that all issues are traced and resolved as quickly as possible.

This is a one-year contract in which you will be assisting the team through an exiting time of expansion of the Activate Learning Group during which you will have the opportunity to be involved in several larger projects involving the redesign, development and merging of key systems.
