The School of Skills for Life is looking for an exceptional lecturer to join their team on an hourly paid basis. This is a key post which requires an understanding of Special Educational Needs.
We are looking for an exceptional lecturer, with the qualities to make a difference to our learners. Experience within foundation learning would help, but if you have teaching ability and could adapt your skills, we would love to hear from you.
This role would suit someone capable of creating and developing a range of learning opportunities to meet the needs of our students. You will be based in Biggleswade at our off-site provision in Mead End.
Understanding complex learner needs and ensuring that barriers to learning are removed will essential for this role. An understanding of the SEND reforms and how the Code of Practice impacts on FE courses is also important.
Good attention to detail is important with the ability to maintain accurate records utilising the College systems.
As part of a specialist team, you will be expected to deliver high-quality provision and personalised learning, encouraging learners to enhance their skills and achieve their full potential set out in their Educational, Health and Care Plans.
This role requires a problem-solver with high expectations of themselves and our learners. This position will suit a flexible and highly organised individual. You must be available to work Tuesday and Thursday during term time.
This role is an hourly paid position, based in Biggleswade with an initial fixed term end date of 31 July 2020.
