At that leads nicely into what this role means to the business and how it sits. Part of a wider marketing communications team, the Head of Performance Marketing leads all Media activity for the brand, including PPC (Paid Search), Display, Mobile, Video, Print & OOH as well as management of the agency relationship.
It's an integral role for the marketing department, not because of the value that performance marketing brings to the business, but more on the strategic thinking processes and management skills this role brings to the team. You'll manage a great medium sized team, split across multiple divisions in the marketing team and they will look to you for guidance, creative thinking and development.
The team work with two different media agencies, one focused on paid and the other on organic. It will be your job to get the most value out of both of these and continue to build a great relationship, where it feels more like a partnership rather than if feeling like "agency vs client".
