Salary range starting at £30,487, rising to £36,062 with experience in the role (£28,855 to £34,430 plus Market Rate Allowance of £1,632 for holding a relevant Management qualification. We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our Business and Accounting team within our Business Management area. If you are looking for a new challenge and would like to utilise your skills and experience whilst developing your own career, this role will be both rewarding and fulfilling.

You will pass on your specialist knowledge, and will be developing skills for the future. You will lead a team to provide high quality teaching, learning and assessment, and contribute to our strategy of creating and maintaining a culture of excellence in the faculty area.

You will be able to support and lead your team in planning and delivering outstanding lessons in a variety of learning environments. A highly engaged, positive and inspirational leader, you will also have a genuine desire to improve the life chances of learners. You will work with the Faculty Manager and your team to develop and deliver a dynamic study programme that encapsulates a broad range of industry topics and effectively prepares young people for their future careers.

You will also develop and implement strategies to improve learner attendance, retention and achievement. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of your curriculum area and, occasionally, may stand in for the Faculty Manager if required. This role is a great opportunity for those seeking to use their existing management and teaching skills to benefit the lives of young people.

You will be highly motivated and able to build positive relationships. You will be committed to continual professional development. Your planning, organisation skills and attention to detail will be excellent.

As your duties will include delivering high-quality teaching, learning and assessment, you will hold a degree in a Business and/or Accounting related subject, a Level 5 teaching qualification (DET/PGCE) and knowledge of the career opportunities the industry provides along with sound IT skills using Microsoft Office. Ideally, you will hold an assessor qualification, or be willing to work towards it.
