Hourly Paid Lecturer in Business
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the School of Business and Computing for a Lecturer in Business to teach all levels on a fixed term basis.
The successful candidate must have the capacity and ability to manage the progress of learners across all levels and support their pastoral needs whilst monitoring course specific KPI’s.
You will be required to teach Business modules such as Marketing, Law, Finance and Economics.
You must also have excellent knowledge and understanding of Pearson BTEC qualifications, exams and assessments.
You will join a vibrant and high-performing team, mainly working in our well-equipped facilities at our Watford campus with possibility of hours at our Hemel Hempstead campus. The successful candidate must be confident that they can contribute to and improve our team.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, flexible; student-centered and be a strong role model for our students. The successful candidate will be working approximately 18 hours per week.
A relevant degree is a requirement and a teaching qualification is desirable, although full training to obtain this will be provided. You will have an ability to promote, support and embed English and maths skills within planning and delivery of all teaching.
This role is initially until July 2019 when it will be reviewed.
