Lecturer in Computer Science

We are recruiting a driven and passionate Lecturer in Computer Science, with a commitment to driving forward the provision to ensure student success to teach on a range of programmes across the Division's curriculum.

As an ambitious Lecturer, you will work within the Division and liaise with cross-college areas to enhance the student experience and provide the widest range of opportunities to our students.

As a Lecturer you will teach, relevant to subject specialism, up to 832 hours per year.

Ideally you will possess a PGCE or Certificate in Education. However should you not have this, the College has an excellent Staff Development programme where a recognised teaching qualification can be gained.

You will possess detailed knowledge of Computer Science and of current issues in Further Education relating to the curriculum area. You will have the ability to display excellent teaching skills and ideally, you will also have knowledge of current BTEC computing specifications and have current industry experience.

The salary for this post is £28,162 - £33,795.
