Full time, temp 3 month post with potential for extension
Salary; GBP 18,008
Location; Rotherham Town Centre and Dearne Valley College

About the role
In this rewarding role you have the opportunity to bring the subject of English to life in a creative and stimulating way, coaching and support an assigned cohort of learners who require additional support as identified by College staff. You'll be maximising engagement, participation, independence in learning and ultimately driving successful results in this critical area having a significant impact upon the learner's College experience and future prospects.

Great communication skills and partnership working are essential elements of the role as you will be liaising with Curriculum staff to secure the best possible educational outcomes for students studying GCSE and Functional Skills English, helping them to overcome barriers to learning in order to achieve their full potential.

Have you got what it takes?
Previous experience of working with young people
Evidence of effectively delivering similar objectives
A minimum of Level 2 English and Mathematics qualification
A good knowledge of English in order to support students studying GCSE
