An opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Officer to join our Employer Services team based at our bespoke multi-million pound Wirral Waters Campus. The successful applicant will actively identify and manage a portfolio of employer relationships to grow employer led business, identifying and marketing opportunities for apprenticeships, traineeships and other commercial and government funded programmes with employers as well as advising on available funding.
The successful applicant will hold a Level 3 or above qualification and also hold a Level 2 qualification in English & maths. You will have experience and a proven track record of marketing apprenticeships, traineeships and other government funded programmes to employers, generating new business and maintaining existing relationship's to secure repeat business. In addition you will have Knowledge of apprenticeship frameworks and standards.
You will bring with you to this role excellent communication and networking skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships with internal and external customers.
You will possess IOSH Managing Safely or be prepared to undertake and gain within 6 months of appointment.
This post will involve working 37 hours per week and will be based at our Wirral Waters Campus in Birkenhead, Wirral, however you may be required to work at others campuses and will be expected to have a car to use for work and a full driving licence. The successful applicant will be able to join the College's pension scheme.
