Senior Admissions Officer UCP (1 Year fixed-term contract)

We are currently seeking a full-time Senior Admissions and Enrolment Officer at University Centre Peterborough, on a fixed-term contract for 12 months. The successful candidate will provide a high level of quality IAG, application and enrolment services and facilitate the smooth, timely and efficient processing of student applications, interviews and data from first contact with UCP through to completion of enrolment, ensuring that UCAS, ARU and UCP guidelines and policies are adhered to. The successful candidate will coordinate the admission process and induction of new students and to coordinate the work and reporting of the admissions team. You will contribute to the Access and Participation Plan monitoring and will support recruitment events and activities targeting hard to reach student groups. This role will work closely with the Academic Office, Student Services and MIS to ensure robust data and enhanced student experience. The working hours will usually be 8.30 am to 5.00 pm from Monday to Thursday and 8.30 am to 4.30 pm on Friday (37 hours per week). However, the working hours will vary on occasions dependent on the needs of the University Centre. The successful candidate will hold a Level 2 qualification in English, Maths and ICT and a Level 3 qualification. You will be positive, driven, and enthusiastic and customer orientated and be able to organise and prioritise in a busy, demanding environment. Experience of admissions processes and UCAS is desirable. You will be a motivated, self-starter with the highest level of commitment to constantly enhancing the experience of potential students from application to enrolment and maximising the recruitment of students against set targets. This is a target driven role requiring a creative person that is driven to succeed. Exceptional communication skills both verbally and written are essential along with excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
