Senior Coordinator in Quality and Professional Development

We have great opportunity based at our Bedford or Kettering campus for a Senior Coordinator in Quality and Professional Development to become a key member of our Quality department.


As Senior Coordinator in Quality and Professional Development, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our students through:

  • Supporting the work of the Quality Team surrounding professional development to deliver consistent improvements to the staff and student experience and achievement by providing a comprehensive professional development programme across the Bedford College Group (BCG)
  • Supporting the Head of Quality and Quality Managers in the provision of a high quality learning experience for our students and Professional Development service to the Bedford College Group

Our ideal candidates will have experience of working in a busy department and experience of using a wide range of databases and systems and the ability to analyse information and produce reports, alongside the following qualifications:

  • GCSE Maths and English Language (grades A – C) or equivalent
  • Level 3 Learning & Development Certificate in CIPD or willingness to achieve

Contract Type – Bedford College Professional Services Ltd (BCPS Ltd)

40 hours per week (1.0 FTE) / 52 weeks per year

25 days holiday per annum, pro rata

An Enhanced DBS check will be required and you will be required to declare any convictions, cautions, reprimands or final warnings, which would not be filtered in line with current guidance.
