This is a newly created role where you will be responsible for the line management of a growing team of study coaches and learning assistants. Every day in this department varies greatly but the ultimate goal is to create an environment that advocates a gold standard of service to our students and support your team with developing their skills, through observation, 1:1 and the creation of well-designed development plans.
What do you need to be successful?
Knowledge of students who have special education needs and disabilities (SEND) is important but not outweighed by your personal aspiration to inspire your team to deliver the best educational setting for these students. You will be a creative, motivated and experienced team leader with demonstrable experience of team management, ideally within an educational setting.
With strong leadership skills and an aptitude to show empathy and support to our students through their education pathways, you will have excellent communication and organisation skills and be a role model of professionalism who embraces change and adapts to the evolving nature of this team. We are currently recruiting for two Group Learning Support Team Leaders on a full time, permanent contract. You will be required to work Monday to Friday.
