An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Trainer Assessor to join our Clinical Health team, based at our new bespoke multi-million pound Wirral Waters Campus. The post holder will assist in the development, organisation and management of high quality training, learning and assessment for apprenticeships/workplace learning in the area of Clinical Health. You will have responsibility for a caseload of learners as well as quality assurance.
The successful applicant will hold a recognised professional qualification at Level 4 or above in clinical health and be a registered nurse. You will have a good understanding of clinical/health qualifications underpinned by relevant industrial experience. You will also possess assessor and verifier qualifications and ideally have recent experience of training, assessment and quality assurance. Knowledge of requirements for Apprenticeship frameworks or standards would be beneficial. A teaching/training qualification or being fully committed to work towards gaining a relevant teaching qualification such as Level 3 Education and Training is required.
The post will involve working 22.2 hours per week and will be based at our Wirral Waters Campus in Birkenhead, Wirral. The successful applicant will be able to join the College's pension scheme as well as receive the College's generous holiday entitlement.
