Suffolk New College on the Coast, Seaward Avenue, Leiston, IP16 4BG

This post will predominately be based in Leiston.  However, there will also be some teaching at the Ipswich Campus.

Up to £35,811 per annum pro rata

0.6 FTE, 21 hours per week (up to 14 teaching hours and 7 preparation and other duties)

We are seeking a professional with industry expertise in Public Services and Sport, to teach on courses from level 1 to level 3, across a breadth of practical and theoretical units.

You should have a Degree in a related area (or equivalent professional qualification) and a teaching qualification or a commitment to obtaining one within a specified time after commencementYou will also have literacy and numeracy qualifications at level 2 equivalent or above. 

This post is based at Suffolk New College’s new centre in Leiston.  You will be part of a small team offering great vocational teaching in a specialist learning environment and ensuring our students receive an exceptional student experience.  Linking in with the curriculum team at the main Ipswich campus for meetings and Continuing Professional Development, there will also be a requirement to teach at our Ipswich campus.  You should therefore be prepared to travel across both sites.
