In this role you will you will play a key part in our transformation, working alongside our teaching staff your coaching sessions will focusing on developing our learners emotions and motivations which are the key to helping them succeed.

The Rycotewood Furniture Centre has a strong track record of good and outstanding performance in training and educating for the furniture industry over the past 80 years.

You will be driven by a desire to inspire our learning professionals and learners to be the best they can possibly be, aim high, earn respect and make it happen.  You will be highly motivated, brave and curious and have the ability to develop future talent within the Rycotewood Furniture team. You will be able to evidence your own personal development and how this can be utilised to influence others.

The successful candidate will lead a faculty team with a sharp focus on staff development and team performance with an ultimate goal to create an outstanding learning experience for our students. As part of this leadership role you will work with our industry partners and lead team delivery on the Furniture Apprenticeships.

This is a key full time role based at our City of Oxford College.  We are seeking an exceptional candidate who understands the furniture industry and education. You will have an understanding of what makes outstanding teaching and learning and proven management/ leadership experience.
