Situated in a beautiful location in Pembrokeshire, the College has recently opened its new ‘Campus 6’ dedicated A level centre with state of the art teaching and learning facilities.
This role will be pivotal to the College’s strategic goal to “Deliver outstanding quality learning programmes and develop skills in learners that are critical for their life chances, including improving literacy and numeracy”.
The Faculty of A Levels and Skills is one of four in the College looking after over 300 learners at Key Stage 5 and providing cross College delivery of skills including GCSEs. This position is part of the Senior Management Team and reports directly to the Principal.
If successful you will be responsible for managing a team of approximately 40 staff and leading, monitoring and developing the Faculty’s curriculum offer whilst delivering against quality targets and maximising student outcomes. Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying creative curriculum strategies in order to deliver against challenging financial targets.
A proactive, customer focussed ethos will be essential to ensuring the Faculty Culture underpins the wider College values of Think More, Learn More, Be More.
Applicants with Welsh language verbal communication skills at intermediate/ advanced /proficiency level are particularly welcome. We welcome applications in Welsh and English.
