Lecturer in Public Affairs for NCTJ

You will need to be able to transfer your passion for Public Affairs Journalism to a group of learners to national standards enabling them to achieve qualifications in NCTJ Diploma in Journalism Set work, assess and grade submissions in line with awarding body criteria and requirements. Own your course and look for opportunities to develop the learning experience and introduce additional learning interventions. This position is 4.5 hours on a Friday for 10 weeks.
- You will need to be qualified to degree level
- No teaching qualification is required but you must be willing to work towards and gain relevant teaching qualifications which will be sponsored and supported by the college.
- Experience of teaching preferably in Media would be an advantage but not essential.
- Commitment to the development of the Creative Media sector.
- Be flexible and self-motivated with a dedication to student achievement and quality.
