Independent Non-Exec ECFA Committee Member
AoC Sport is now recruiting for a new Independent non-executive member of the English Colleges Football Association (ECFA) Committee, which helps shape the future of football through further education.
The successful candidates will influence the development of FE student and community football nationwide, provide a voice for members / football and be an advocate for ECFA and FE.
ECFA Committee is one of three advisory groups to the AoC Sport Board. The Committee is led by Chairman Kevin Hamblin, Principal at South Gloucestershire and Stroud College and is made up of seven senior leader college representatives (including one vacancy), two independent football representatives (including a representative from The FA and one vacancy), the Managing Director of AoC Sport, and two co-opted young people from colleges.
Our aim is to create a committee with an appropriate mix of skills, experience, knowledge, diversity and independence for a modern, strategic and dynamic football committee which provides a voice for members and football, shapes the future direction of FE Football and give expert advice and appropriate challenge to the executive and AoC Sport board.
ECFA Committee members must be able to commit to attending four meetings a year usually hosted at St Georges Park, Wembley or a member college.
