An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team as Head of Management Information Systems and Exams.

The successful candidate will create, maintain and deliver an effective MIS and Exams strategy and related policies which inform and support current and future developments of the College. The post holder will pro-actively deliver accurate, objective and timely management information that is audit and inspection-compliant and integral to College strategy and decision-making. It is essential that the post holder also maintains high-quality exams provision that supports student success and meets awarding organisation requirements.

You’ll be degree qualified, have substantial experience working with Management Information Systems and engender a performance management culture, leading departments that strive to deliver a high-quality service. You’ll have a proven track record of success with data, curriculum planning, and funding in 16-18, 19+ and apprenticeships.

We are looking for ambitions that go beyond the usual MIS processes: with entrepreneurial leadership skills, you will enjoy working in a leading college within a dynamic FE landscape across a multi-campus set-up. Drive, ambition and motivation, with clear communication and transformational leadership skills, will be required to make a quick impact. Innovative approaches to simplify and transform existing systems and merge ILRs will also be essential.

In return, there is a competitive market rate salary on offer and membership of a supportive and committed College Management Group, underpinned by a committed staff.
