Assistant Technician – Catering and Hospitality
37 hours per week (Monday – Friday) / 38 weeks per year (term time only)
Grade 1 £15,215 (actual salary £12,897)
We require an Assistant Catering Technician to maintain cleanliness of all catering equipment within the training kitchens and associated catering areas as timetabled, as well as to provide technical support to students and staff during practical lessons and restaurant service.
The successful applicant will be required to work a varied shift pattern between the hours of 10.30am-7.30pm in the training kitchens (subject to changes in College timetabling).
Experience of adhering to Food Safety & COSHH Regulations required, a food hygiene qualification is essential (although training can be given), previous experience of working in an industrial catering environment preferred.
