Head of IT Services
Highbury College has over 50 years’ experience of delivering further education across the Portsmouth area. We are seeking an innovative and driven individual who has exceptional technical skills and who can demonstrate an ability to lead the strategic development of IT across the College.
The Head of IT is responsible for developing and implementing an IT infrastructure and culture that enables both the Students to receive an outstanding education experience and the Staff to have access to highly effective IT support.
The successful candidate will be able to lead and motivate the IT support team to plan, design and deliver a robust, secure, safe, responsive and resilient service to our Staff and Students.
Candidates will possess excellent current technical skills which may include a broad knowledge of server based technologies and experience of implementing and maintaining IT networks. In addition, candidates should have experience of project management, IT procurement and successfully implementing change and introducing innovation.
