The Finance department is based at Orpington campus and is situated just by the high street in the Orpington area with close links to bus and train transportation, shops, the library, the leisure centre and car park facilities.

The Income Team of the Finance department would welcome an enthusiastic, highly motivated and highly skilled Finance Assistant to support different aspects of Income financial processing and Reconciliations for the College, Multi Academy Trust and subsidiaries of the College.

To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the essential criteria in the job specification and where possible, meet the desirable requirements and have quick learning ability as well ability to work with teams and individuals to improve performance and standards, with exceptional organisational, time management, customer service, interpersonal and communication skills.

In addition, recent experience of working in the educational sector, attention to detail, strong spread sheet and IT skills will definitely be an advantage.

As the College supports a number of children and vulnerable adults, all staff are exempt from Section 4(2) of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.  Accordingly, most staff will be subject to either a 'Standard' or 'Enhanced' DBS (formerly CRB) check.
