Curriculum Area Manager - Construction - Hertford Regional College - Broxbourne Campus Salary £38,380-£40,400 per annum dependent on qualifications and experience
Want to lead a Construction team that is working to achieve outstanding education for young people?
We are looking for a strong leader to join HRC as a Curriculum Area Manager to lead our Construction curriculum, covering the specialisms of Carpentry, Painting and Decorating, Construction and the built environment. You will be passionate about delivering outstanding learner experience and have been part of quality improvement, including leading on teaching and learning. Applicants must have experience in one of the above specialisms and the associated awarding bodies, together with managing EV and EQA visits.
This role is a vital component in the College's intention to become outstanding with a minimum of a grade 'Good', at the next Ofsted inspection. Therefore all applicants must have experience managing multiple courses and have an understanding of pass rates being at or exceeding the national average.
Successful candidates will have a proven accomplished record in course management, a middle management role, and be able to demonstrate the improvements made in relation to the quality of provision, learner experience and the support of developing teaching and learning practices within team.
A HND/ degree in a relevant subject/discipline or relevant management experience is essential, along with a full teaching qualification.

Hours: 36 hours Monday to Friday
Salary: £38,380 - £40,400 per annum dependent on qualifications and experience
Annual Leave: 35 days per annum plus all public and Bank Holidays
