Business Development Account Manager
We are seeking an experienced, target driven Business Development Manager to support our successful and ambitious Business Development Team. You will be highly motivated to generate sales leads, with experience of cold calling, and developing strong relationships with a diverse range of customers. Highly IT literate with exceptional organisational and interpersonal skills, you will have the drive and tenacity to manage and prioritise your own varied workload.
Ideally you will have industry / sector experience although the key priority for this challenging role is that you have a demonstrable commitment to generating sales leads through to completion as well as sustaining ongoing, repeat business. You will be responsible for employer engagement, internal and external networking, account management, identifying training solutions and liaising between college programme delivery team and the employer to ensure both needs are met.
The ideal candidate’s essential skills:
- Minimum of three years’ sales experience
- Lead generation and development
- Sales pipeline management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to present our products and services to clients in a clear and enthusiastic way
- Ability to think on your feet to generate additional business
