The College offers routes into learning from entry level through to MBA level, including apprenticeships, higher level apprentices, higher education and job centre plus clients. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Quality and Transforming Teaching, Learning and Assessment, this role will be responsible for leading the development, implementation and embedding of the College Higher Level Skills (HLS) Provision including, HNCs, HNDs, Level 5-7 (HE provision and Apprenticeships) and non-prescribed qualifications. The post holder will be passionate about raising the standards of teaching, learning and assessment and the overall learning experience of learners within Higher Level Skills provision.
The post holder will work closely with the Curriculum Directors, Head of Business Development, Learning Innovation Manager, the Digital Learning Manager, Quality and EEP Manager, Curriculum Managers and the Head of Apprentices.
In addition to motivating colleagues, the role holder will be proactive in encouraging innovative approaches and developing a robust higher level skills curriculum offer. He/she will be a champion of quality, academic rigour and standards and will act as the key contact for the Academic Office of the universities and awarding organisations for assurance and enhancement of HLS quality and standards.
